REPORT FROM PRINCIPAL ABOUT SYSTEM OF EXAMINATION

B.Sc. Nursing

1. Anatomy and physiology- question paper will consist of section A- Anatomy of 37 marks & section -B Physiology should be of 38 marks.
2. Nutrition and Bio chemistry- question paper will consist of section A Nutrition of 45 marks & B Bio chemistry should be of 30 marks.
3. Minimum pass marks shall be 40% for English only.
4. Minimum pass marks shall be 50% in each of the Theory & Practical paper separately.
5. A candidate must have minimum of 80% attendance (irrespective of the kind of the absence) in theory and practical in each subjects for appearing for examination.
6. A candidate must have 100% attendance in each of the practical areas before award of the degree.
7. A candidate has to pass in theory and practical exam separately in each of the paper.
8. If a candidate fails in either theory or practical paper he/ she has to reappear for both the papers.
9. Maximum number of attempts permitted for each paper is three including first attempt.
10. A candidate fail in more than 2 subjects will not promoted to the next year.
11. Maximum number of candidates for practical examination should not exceed 20 per day.
12. All practical examinations must be held in respective clinical areas.
13. One internal and one external examiner should jointly conduct practical examinations for each students.
14. An examiner should be lecturer or above in a college of Nursing with M.Sc. (N) in concerned subjects and minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
15. To be an examiner for nursing foundations course faculty having M.Sc (N) with any specialty shall be considered.
